Founder of SK9A, Head Dog Trainer, Residential Training Specialist.
Cameron - The founder/head trainer of SK9A and the proud handler of Belgian Malinois, Nora.
Cameron is proud to be a STSK9 MVP student, being coached by Nino Drowaet. The STSK9 master view path is an exciting certification program which he can’t wait to add to the ever building portfolio of qualifications, helping him continually provide creative dog training ideas.
Cameron’s passion is in helping dogs and owners with overcoming reactivity problems, and helping to unlock training potential to form strong relationships between handlers and their dogs.
Cameron enjoys training residential program dogs and always goes the extra mile to impress his clients for their return.
Cameron has a HUGE passion for dog training, and it constantly continuing his development, completing courses, webinars and seminars etc. Cameron has also completed a dog first aid course and carries a paw medic first aid kit with him.
Cameron has committed himself to learning the art of dog training, he has trained with many different trainers and training businesses including, LEERBURG ONLINE UNIVERSITY, STSK9, IMDT, SOCS, DTC to name a few.
Outside of dog training, Cameron is a keen carp angler and goes night fishing many times a year, of course with Nora.
meet NORA
SK9A DEMO DOG, HEAD OF SOCIAL MEDIA, LOVES A BALL.
Nora is a Belgian Malinois, she enjoys being walked, trained and playing with her giant red ball!
Nora came to Cameron slightly later at seven months old, having a mother that was working in a security role, Nora would travel to work with her mum for work.
Watching her mum work but without the training to understand the concept behind her work role. Ultimately led to some fear based reactivity with Nora around unknown people and dogs.
Nowadays Nora has worked on her reactivity and is no longer reacting to dogs or people, instead she is neutral and prefers to get on with training.
In her own time, Nora enjoys camping and loves being taken carp fishing with Cameron where they spend a couple nights under the stars (there’s very rarely any fish involved)
As you can tell from the profile picture, Nora always get the camping Bed.

At SK9A we understand and value every dog and there differences, our training approach for each dog depends on individual dogs needs and abilities. We offer different training approaches to different problems working with/for dogs and owners alike.
