GRC Dogsports Sussex Club
Where community, control and drive come together.
Founded by Cameron (Sussex K9 Academy) and Lill (Canine & Co), GRC Dogsports Sussex is a friendly, welcoming club for pet owners and sport enthusiasts who want to build real-world obedience and balanced drive work—without the ego.
What is GRC Dogsports?
GRC stands for Gameness, Relationship, and Control.
It’s a modern dog sport focused on:
SR (Social Responsibility): neutrality, manners and calm around people, dogs and everyday distractions.
Drive Sports: fun, safe outlets like spring pole, weight-pull foundations, mill work and wall climb fundamentals to develop athleticism and confidence.
GRC isn’t about creating a “crazy” sport dog—it’s about channeling your dog’s natural drives into a stronger relationship and rock-solid control in the real world.

FAQs
Do I need experience?
No. We’ll guide you through SR first, then build drive work at your dog’s pace.
Is GRC suitable for reactive or over-excited dogs?
Often, yes—with the right management and plan. That’s why we start with the Intro to make sure you and your dog are set up to succeed.
Can I just turn up on Wednesdays?
Please book the Intro first so we can meet you both and give you a quick orientation before club night.
Will I get to try all the stations?
Most weeks, yes, rotations vary. We’ll tailor to your dog’s needs and confidence.
